- How do I get a library card?
Patrons of any age are invited to obtain a library card. Click here for an application form (two-sided). Complete the application form and bring it to the library along with a photo ID and proof of residence. A parent or guardian must be present to complete a library card form for children under 18 years of age. Library cards may be used at all libraries in our shared system.
- What are the loan periods on items?
Adult Department – New Fiction/Non-Fiction books check out for 2 weeks; all other books are 3 weeks.
DVDs and non-current issue magazines check out for 1 week.
Audio Materials check out for 2 weeks.
Children’s Department – All books, magazines, audiobooks, and music check out for 4 weeks.
Videos, DVDs, and Computer Games check out for 1 week.
- Are there fines for late materials?
The fines are 10 cents per item per day on all late materials. If an item is from another library, items may be subject to that library’s fine policy. Patrons with fines of $5.00 or more will be prohibited from borrowing library materials.
- Does the library have internet computers?
The library has internet computers in both the Adult and Children’s Departments. There is also wireless access throughout the building. All minors under the age of 18 must have a parental/guardian permission card on file at the library to use the internet. Public internet computers may be used in 30-minute increments with a limit of 2 hours per day. Adults with small children may use the internet computers in the Children’s Department.

- What public services does the library offer?
In addition to internet computers, there is a copier/scanner/fax machine available as well as microfiche readers to peruse old newspapers. Photocopies are 10 cents per page and faxing is $1.00 per page. During tax season, tax forms are available. The library provides a Notary Public service for the community. Please call ahead for availability. There is a meeting room on site that is available for public use. Form may be filled out and returned to the library.
