“Books on the Go”
Outreach to Seniors &
Homebound Patrons

More people are retiring to the Northwoods, and there are more elderly in the existing population.  With long driving distances, a lengthy winter, and decreasing physical mobility, it becomes more difficult for the elderly to get to the library.  “Books on the Go” visits four senior residences every other week.

We visit Evergreen Manor, Grace Lodge, Phoenix Villa, and Rhine Haus every other week.  We bring large-print books & magazines, books on cassette & CD, music and movies.
