The Adult Services department is a center for information gathering, entertainment
options and a nice, comfortable place to read the newspaper, a magazine or your favorite author. In addition to the regular fiction and non-fiction collections, which include the latest best sellers, there are special collections such as the Bump Art Collection, which is a university quality collection of all types of art books, a very extensive local and Wisconsin History Collection and a genealogy section, complete with the latest equipment for searching and reproducing microfilm records. The music collection features enough genres of music to please even the most refined tastes. There are videos, the latest DVDs, audiobooks and Books on CD.
Also offered are our free programs throughout the year including the author series and the Peter’s Memorial series.
There are two book discussion groups meeting at the library. One is strictly for non-fiction enthusiasts and the other library discussion group reads all types of literature.
